Today, 17 years ago, in the morning of August 4, 2007, my inner voice told me to play the lottery.
4,7,20,30,32,43 were my number thoughts; super number 7 or 8.
Ok… I decided to play with two tickets and only use one box at a time.
As I left the house, I thought about writing down the numbers.
“Oh well. You can probably remember those few numbers”
In the store, the two bills with the super numbers 7 and 8 lay in front of me and I only had the first four numbers in my head.
Think, think, think… 32 and…
“Come on… What are you doing here, you dreamer?”
I put the bills back and grabbed an other one, made a few crosses and left the store.
On Sunday mornings, the front page of the newspaper blared out the numbers:
4,7,20,30,32,43 Sz. 8
A hard blow to the stomach.
Why didn’t I listen to my intuition?
If everything had gone smoothly, I would have been a double winner with my two tickets.
Around 3.5 million euros passed me by.
I could have lived my dreams with it.
Not big dreams.
Riding along the coasts of Europe on horseback, looking out for a little house on the way and then buying it so that I would know where my stove stands when I was old.
Sometimes dreams just remain dreams!
Today I’m 62 and the globetrotter life is over.
Well… If things had turned out differently, I would never have met Gaby and many of you lovely people and FPCM would not even exist!
So I needed a new destination, a small trail that would become a new road to something wonderful.
